Yes. Booking direct through the Brambles website offers the best rates. If you find a cheaper price online, we offer a price guarantee match. It also means you're speaking to us, not a platform, and we can take better care of you that way. Call us and we will ensure you get the cheaper price.

We offer two rate types. Our Flexible Rate can be cancelled up to 72 hours before arrival for a full refund. Our Non-Refundable Rate is offered at a lower price but cannot be refunded if cancelled. We'll always show both options clearly at the time of booking.

For our Flexible Rate, a deposit equal to the first night's stay is taken at the time of booking. This deposit is refundable up to 72-hours before your stay. The remaining balance is due at check-in. Non-Refundable Rate bookings are charged in full at the time of booking.

Standard check-in is from 15:00 daily. The Loch View Apartment is available from 16:00. All check-ins take place at Brambles Café, it's our way of welcoming you properly, with a coffee in hand rather than a clipboard.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 11:00 for hotel rooms. The Loch View Apartment has a slightly later check-out of 12:00. Just head back to the café, the team will be there to see you off.

Where do I check in and out?

Both check-in and check-out happen at Brambles Café on Main Street. Check-in is available up to 20:00. If you're arriving later, simply call our after-hours number on 01499 302 252 and we'll make sure you're sorted.

Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?

Yes. Early check-in from 12:00 noon and late check-out until 13:00 are both available for a small fee of £20. Just add the request to your booking notes or let us know during your stay and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes. Brambles of Inveraray warmly welcomes dogs. We believe a true reset should include the whole family, and that includes the four-legged members. Inveraray is one of the best places in Scotland to bring a dog, with miles of shoreline and woodland walks right on the doorstep.

Which rooms at Brambles are dog-friendly?

Dogs are welcome in two of our spaces: The Garden Suite (a hotel room with direct garden access) and The Loch View Apartment (our self-catering apartment, also with private garden access). Both have been chosen for their ease of access for dogs and their owners.

Is there a charge for bringing a dog to Brambles?

Yes, there is a charge of £20 per dog, per night. We can accommodate a maximum of two dogs per room.

Is Brambles Café dog-friendly?

Yes. Dogs are always welcome in our café. Pull up a chair, order a coffee, and let them settle at your feet, it's that kind of place.

Are there good dog walks near Brambles in Inveraray?

Inveraray is brilliant for dog walking. Our favourites include the Leacainn Walk, the Dùn na Cuaiche hill trail, Crarae Gardens, and the Inveraray Castle grounds. The shores of Loch Fyne are also just two minutes from our front door, perfect for a quick morning stretch. Ask our team for personalised recommendations; we've been exploring these paths for years.

Do you provide dog beds or bowls?

We don't provide dog beds or bowls, so please pack your own. Everything else, we've got covered.

We have two categories of accommodation. Our hotel rooms include the Garden Suite, Deluxe Rooms, and Superior Rooms. Our self-catering apartments include the Loch View Apartment, the Attic Apartment, and the Campbell Apartment. Every space is individually styled, no two rooms are the same.

How many guests can each room or apartment accommodate?

Our Deluxe, Superior, Twin, and Attic Apartment accommodate up to two guests. The Loch View Apartment, Garden Suite, and Campbell Apartment (which includes a sofa bed for children) can accommodate up to four guests.

Which rooms have a bath?

Our Superior Rooms and the Loch View Apartment each have both a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. All other rooms feature walk-in showers. If a bath is important to you, we'd recommend booking a Superior Room or the Loch View Apartment.

Are hairdryers and irons provided?

Hairdryers are provided in all rooms. Irons and ironing boards are available on request, just ask at the café and we'll have one brought to your room.

Do you have ground-floor rooms?

Yes. One Deluxe Room and one Superior Room are on the ground floor. The Garden Suite is also ground level, though it does have five internal stairs. If accessibility is a priority, please mention it when booking and we'll make sure we find the right space for you.

Is there Wi-Fi and a Smart TV in the rooms?

Yes. All rooms and apartments have free high-speed Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. You'll need your own login details for streaming services.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is included with all Bed & Breakfast bookings and is served in Brambles Café between 07:30 and 10:00. If you've booked room-only, you're very welcome to join us in the café and order from the menu.

Do any rooms have private outdoor space?

Yes. The Garden Suite  has garden access, ideal if you want your own quiet corner of the West Coast of Scotland.

We don't have a private car park, but free on-street parking is available on Main Street throughout the year. Pay and display car parks are also nearby (operating April to October, 09:00–17:00).

Is room service available?

We don't offer traditional room service, but we can pre-arrange a few special touches, a bottle of Prosecco, fresh flowers, or a cake in your room on arrival. Just get in touch before you arrive and we'll sort it.

Is there a lift at Brambles?

There is no lift at Brambles. Our buildings are historic, so some rooms involve stairs. Our team is always happy to help with luggage, just ask. If mobility is a concern, please let us know when booking so we can recommend the most suitable room.

Is there an EV charger nearby?

Yes. A public EV charger is located on the Avenue, directly behind Brambles, just a short walk from the front door.

Do you have baby cots available?

Yes. Travel cots with linen can be provided for £10 per stay. Please request this at the time of booking so we can have it ready for your arrival.

Can I see Loch Fyne from my room?

A direct loch view is available from the Loch View Apartment only. Our hotel rooms are located on Main Street, so while Loch Fyne is literally two minutes from your front door, the view from the rooms looks out over the town.

Do you offer corporate rates?

Yes. We offer discounted rates for repeat midweek business travel. If you travel regularly for work and are looking for a dependable, comfortable base in Argyll, get in touch and we'll look after you.

Brambles Café is open daily from 07:30 to 20:00 (closing at 16:00 during winter months). We serve breakfast, lunch, and home-baked treats throughout the day.

Does Brambles have an evening restaurant or bar?

We don't serve dinner, but our café serves wine, beer, and whisky alongside our food menu during opening hours. For evening dining, our team is happy to recommend the best spots in Inveraray.

Do I need to book a table at the café?

No reservation is needed for groups of fewer than 15 guests. For larger groups, please get in touch in advance so we can make sure we're ready for you.

Is there a takeaway option?

Yes. Takeaway is available throughout our opening hours: from a morning coffee and pastry to a packed lunch for the hills, You can pre-order your packed lunch with a member of our staff. Our sister company, Brambles Deli, also offers takeaway from the roastery just across the road.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Gluten-free and vegan options are clearly marked on our menu. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, please let our team know and we'll take care of you.

How far is Brambles from Loch Fyne?

The shores of Loch Fyne are a 2-minute walk from our front door. It's the perfect place for a morning stretch or a quiet moment of reflection.

How far is Brambles from Inveraray Castle?

Inveraray Castle and its grounds are a 13-minute walk from Brambles. The castle is the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll and one of the most visited attractions on the West Coast of Scotland.

Is Inveraray Jail dog-friendly?

Yes, Inveraray Jail is dog-friendly, a great option for a fascinating step back into local history with your dog in tow.

Is someone available if I need help during my stay?

Always. A member of the Brambles team is available 24 hours a day for support. Out-of-hours contact details are included in the guest folder in your room, so you're never without a point of contact.

What should I include when I email about a group booking?
