Brambles Hotel and Apartments

How can I make a hotel reservation?

Brambles hotel rooms or apartments are bookable directly through our website. You can do this here: Book Now. If you are looking to make a large booking, please send a request to us via our Enquiry form.  We often run special offers and discounts, so please check our website here for these special hotel deals prior to booking. We are a small family business and, therefore, are unable to book rooms over the phone. We are busy in our wee Scottish hotel, making sure our guests on site are being cared for to the best degree.

What time is hotel check-in?

All of our luxury Scottish hotel rooms and apartments are available daily at 15:00 to check in, with the exception of the Lochview holiday apartment, which is available from 16:00.

What time is check out?

We ask guests to vacate the comfort of our cosy hotel rooms and apartments by 11 am, with the exception of the Loch View luxury Apartment, which is 12:00. This is to allow our team the time needed to prepare rooms to the high standards we offer.

Where do I check in?

Pop in to our Brambles Café any time up to 17:00 to check in to our Inverarary hotel. If arriving after this time, please use our after-hours telephone number 01499 302252 to let us know that you have arrived, and a member of our team will be on hand to check you in.

Where do I check out?

We ask our guests to check out in our Brambles Café between 07:30 to 11:00. Don’t forget to leave us your key, and our team will organise payment for any outstanding balance. And please feel welcome to join us at one of the best places to eat in Scotland. Head to Brambles Café to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch.

Do you offer early check in or late check out?

Early check-in from 12 noon can be requested at your time of booking in the notes section. There is a small fee of £20 per room for this service. If your booking has already been made, please contact us via our enquiry form and we will organise this with you directly.

We also offer a late check-out service at our Inverary hotel. Here you can check out any time up until 13:00. Simply request this at your time of booking, or during your stay. There is a small fee of £20 for this service.

What’s included when I book direct?

Book directly through our website and enjoy some great hotel deals! All direct bookings for any of our hotel rooms or apartments will enjoy a 20% discount. This ensures you enjoy the cheapest possible rate. All travel agents and websites, such as Booking.com and Expedi,a are 20% more expensive than our direct website rates.

Are you dog-friendly?

We are delighted to offer dog-friendly holidays in Scotland! Book our dog-friendly Loch View Apartment or the Garden Suite if you want to bring your four-legged friend. Both of these Scottish holiday accommodations offer direct access to a garden for your dog’s comfort. We charge a small fee of £20 per dog per night for the additional cleaning requirements.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

Whilst we don’t have a hotel restaurant, our hotel has the award-winning Brambles Café. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, home baking, coffee, wine, and beer during your Scottish adventures with us. We are open from 07:30 to 17:00 (closes at 16:00 in the winter months) daily. And for dinner, you can enjoy some fantastic local restaurants, so you will not go hungry!

Does the hotel have a bar?

You can enjoy refreshments in our delicious Brambles café. Here we serve wine, beers, and whisky daily from 11:00 to 17:00.

Where can I have an evening meal?

There are restaurants in the town which we recommend. These recommendations are sent in your confirmation and pre-arrival email. 

Is there parking?

Brambles does not have a private car park as we a right in the centre of town. However, the main street has free parking all year, where Brambles is situated. Alternatively, there are pay and display carparks in the town, payable from April to October from 09:00 to 17:00.

Does the hotel have an EV charger?

A public EV charger is situated on the Avenue, which is directly behind Brambles. So you need not worry about running on a low battery as you explore this beautiful part of the world.

Is WIFI available throughout the property?

Free WIFI is available in all our rooms, apartments and café. So you can come along and know that you will still be able to stay connected and keep up to date with all your online activity.

Is there is SMART TV in the rooms and the apartments?

All rooms and apartments have smart televisions that you can sit back and relax, and enjoy your favourite movies and programmes. You will require your own login to access apps.

Is a deposit required when booking a hotel room or apartment?

When booking the Flexible rate, the value of the first night’s stay is required. This deposit is non-refundable, and the full amount is due at the time of check-in.

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

Brambles offers two rates: a Flexible rate, where the policy can be cancelled up to 72 hours before arrival for a full refund, or a cheaper non-refundable rate, which is not refundable if cancelled.

Do you run hotel and self-catering seasonal promotions?

At Brambles, we have special offers on sale. These may be special packages and experiences, or a discounted hotel or apartment deal. We offer seasonal deals too. Please visit our special offer page for details of our current promotions and then come and enjoy a stay with us!

Is breakfast included with my hotel and apartment stay?

A delicious and complimentary continental buffet breakfast is served in Brambles Café from 07:30 to 10:00 for all rooms and apartments. If you would prefer, a cooked breakfast can be purchased from 07:30 to 11:30, offering a full cooked Scottish breakfast, breakfast rolls and other classic dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options available.

Is room service available?

We do not offer room service; however, prosecco, wine, cakes and flowers can be pre-ordered to your room if you want to treat yourself or someone special. Please get in touch with us here if you want to add any of these on, and we will get this organised for you.

Do you have a bar or lounge area?

Brambles café is open from 07:30 to 17:00, where are relaxing coffee can be enjoyed. The café is family-friendly and dog-friendly. Breakfast and lunch are takeaway are available. You can also enjoy a range of sweet treats. A variety of soft drinks is available, including hot drinks. You can try our delicious signature blend coffee from our sister company, Campbell Coffee. And if you fancy something stronger, we also offer beers and ciders, red and white wine by the glass, and further red, white, rosé and sparkling wines by the bottle.

Do you offer take-away meals for guests and hikers exploring?

Yes, Brambles café has a takeaway service available from 07:30 to 17:00, serving hot and cold foods and drinks. Brambles’ sister company, Campbell Coffee (across the road) also has a takeaway service available from 10:00 to 17:00 (April to October).

Do you provide baby cots, beds or extra beds?

We can provide a baby travel cot and linen for £10 per stay. Please contact us here to request these, and we will get this organised for you. Brambles does not provide extra beds in the room. For families with children, the Loch View Apartment, Garden Suite and Campbell Apartment are perfect.

What is the maximum number of guests in each room?

Deluxe, Superior, Twin and Attic Apartment is a maximum of two guests
Loch View Apartment and Garden Suite is a maximum of four guests.
Campbell Apartment is a maximum of two adults and two children (sofa bed).
These maximum occupancies comply with fire our regulations.

Do you have a lift?

Brambles do not have a lift. At check-in in a member of the Brambles Team will be happy to help with your luggage up the stairs. Just ask when you arrive, and we will be happy to help.

Do you have ground-floor rooms?

Brambles has one Deluxe and one Superior Room on ground level. If you wish to check the availability of a ground-floor room, please contact us here so you can book one.
Furthermore, The Garden Suite is at ground level with five internal stairs to the second bedroom and shower room.

How many bathrooms do your apartments have?

The Lochview has one bathroom with a bath and a shower, and the bath has a view over the Loch! The Garden Suite, Campbell Apartment and Attic Apartment each have one shower room.
 

Do you offer hotel and apartment cleaning services during my stay?

All Deluxe, Superior, Attic Apartment, Campbell Apartment, Garden Suite are serviced daily. Loch View Apartment is un serviced.

Does the hotel have a view of Loch Fyne?

Brambles Hotel is situated in the heart of the Main Street, where there is no loch view. However, Loch View Apartment has a stunning view of the loch!

Is the hotel close to public transport options?

Are you travelling around Scotland by public transport? Travel to us by bus from Buchan Bus Station in Glasgow to Inveraray. Jump on the 926 Campbeltown bus. Some bus times also go via Glasgow airport if you are flying into Scotland.

Unfortunately, there is no train station in Inveraray. The closest train station is Dalmally. There are local taxi services from Dalmally, and it is a 25-minute journey from Dalmally to Inveraray.

Which room types have a bath?

If you would like to enjoy a bath during your stay, book our boutique hotel Superior Rooms or our luxury Loch View Apartment accommodation. These luxury Scottish holiday accommodations offer both a bath and walk-in showers. All other rooms enjoy quality walk-in showers.

Do the rooms have hairdryers?

All our hotel rooms and apartments include a hairdryer for your use, so you don’t need to pack one.

Is there an iron and an ironing board in the rooms and apartments

If you require an iron and an ironing board, please let us know by using our online enquiry form before arrival. Alternatively, you can request anything you need when you check in.

Do you offer Corporate hotel Rates?

Travelling for work to Inveraray and the West Coast of Scotland? Brambles Hotel in Inveraray offers discounted corporate rates for repeat midweek business all year round. We also have a range of apartments for long-term lease as well as our luxury, boutique Scottish hotel. Please contact us online with your requirements, and our team will be delighted to help. Is your Brambles hotel open over Christmas and New Year?

Our Inveraray hotel closes at 5pm on Christmas Eve, and is closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We reopen our doors on the 27th December and remain open for New Year holidays and celebrations. Brambles Cafe

What time is the café open from?

Brambles Café is open seven days a week from 07:30 to 15:00 from April to October and from 07:30 to 16:00 from November through March. The only days we close are Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We offer both sit-in and take-away food in Inveraray.

Do I need to book a table?

Pop in to Brambles Café and order on site. We do not take table reservations for parties under 15 guests. Please just walk into our friendly Inverary cafe, where we look forward to accommodating you ain one of the best places to eat in Inveraray.

Do you provide takeaways?

Brambles Cafe in Inveraray offer take-away food. Browse our takeaway menu in our cafe and order in-store. All our takeaway food is cooked to order. If you are in a hurry, our sister company, Campbell Coffee shop in Inveraray, also offers pre-prepared take-away food options for fast food and quick stops.

Do you take group bookings?

Here at Brambles Cafe, we offer group dining experiences for tables of 15 guests or more. Here we will reserve you a private party dining table. For 20 guest or more, we recommend a bespoke set menu or for your celebration party to pre-order their dining options. Please contact us via our enquiry form with your requirements and our team will be happy to help.

Does the café close for the winter?

Brambles Cafe is open year-round, seven days a week. We are open from 07:30 to 15:00 from April to October, and from 07:30 to 16:00 from November through March. The only days we close our cafe is for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Do you have a menu I can see online?

Do you sell alcohol?

At Brambles Cafe, we are fully licensed and offer wine, prosecco, lager, cider and whisky for you to enjoy with your meal. You can also pop in for a glass with friends and enjoy a sweet treat from our cake offering or nibbles to share.

Do you have an allergens list?

We take allergen care and support very seriously. Please let our team know on arrival at our cafe if you have any allergies we need to be aware of. All of our menu options, including potential allergens, are shown clearly on our menu with the icons of the common allergens.

Do you have a gluten-free menu?
