The Brambles story so far

In 2004, we purchased the Paddlewheel Café in the Scottish town of Inveraray and established Brambles. What started as a café gradually grew to include a hotel with four rooms, then six, fourteen, and now eighteen beautifully designed rooms and apartments spread across four properties throughout the town. Then in 2017, we opened Campbell Coffee, our small-batch speciality coffee roasting company, just across the road. We proudly serve the house blend at the café and our two businesses work together to serve the Inveraray community and our wonderful guests, who come from far and wide.

Testimonials

We stayed at Brambles back in 2020 and always said we would love to go back. So glad we did as it was as comfy, relaxing and welcoming as last time. We stayed in a beautifully decorated and furnished room across the road from the cafe. It was warm and had everything you could possibly want including the most comfy bed and linen. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The free continental breakfast has everything you need with good quality produce. We opted for a cooked breakfast on our last day and this was also delicious. We also had an afternoon tea as part of their winter offer with tea, sandwiches and the most delicious scones. Special shout out to Heather who was so friendly and gave us some great tips about the area. We ate at the George which was good and the Ben Cruachan Inn a 20 min drive to Loch Awe which was great value and had a very interesting menu with the drive. Will 100% be back!
